Product Information
This is the ball the WV range is built around: 16 cm of natural rubber over a moulded core, hand finished, with the even elasticity that makes a bounce predictable. Predictable matters. In therapy and in adapted PE, a ball that returns to the hand the same way every time is a ball people can learn with. The rubber compound is mixed and cured in house rather than bought in, which is why the balls hold their shape through long storage instead of arriving out of round after a summer in a cupboard. The surface is smooth and matt, comfortable to catch bare-handed and easy to wipe down. A patent rubber valve is moulded into the shell, so when the ball eventually softens it can be brought back to pressure with a normal needle pump rather than thrown away. That single detail is the difference between a consumable and a piece of equipment. Five colours: blue, red, yellow, green and a multicoloured version with bold panels that is easier to follow in the air. The identical ball is also made with bells inside for blind and partially sighted players, and in 19 cm for older hands. Made in Germany by KSG.
