The Unicorn Headpointer lets ramp-class (BC3) boccia players who have little or no hand and arm function release the ball themselves. Worn on the head, its slim metal pointer arm reaches out to nudge the ball loose at the top of the ramp, so the player controls the moment of release with a head movement. The headband is made from lightweight, breathable PE-HD plastic with adjustable padding, and is one size to fit XS through XL. The pointer arm is light and balanced for accurate, repeatable control. It is an enabling tool for players with severe physical impairment who play boccia using a ramp.
