I just wanted a good white cane

I was working and getting a good salary. I wanted to pamper myself with a good quality white cane, the latest model, which was not sold by any Bulgarian distributor at the time.

I shared the problem with a friend. She told me they knew someone living in the UK who could buy it for us. I tried to pay, but every card I used was rejected. The shop had decided not to accept foreign cards.

What should have been one week turned into two months, from the moment we first contacted the people in the UK to the actual delivery.

I was really disappointed. I told some friends that I would like to have a shop where people can see products, ask questions, and test them. A place with real trust in the community.

A few weeks later I met Hasan. We exchanged our experiences and found out we were living the same drama. I told him about my idea, and he impressed me by sharing a bolder vision: a global shop. I was really enthusiastic and told him that if he ever decided to start this project, I wanted to collaborate.

Then we went back to our separate jobs, each of us learning and preparing in our own way.

When the time came, the work happened naturally. I had audited many online shops over the years. So when we started building All Access World, I brought not only my accessibility expertise but also a clear understanding of what makes an online shop work and what doesn't.

We are still at the beginning, and there is a lot of work ahead, but this time we are not building it alone.
